CyberCI was founded by three security operators who set out to build the partner they wished they had — a small, senior team running detection and response as an extension of the customers they serve.

Why we exist.

The founding team came up running incident response, building SOCs, and watching the same patterns repeat across organizations of every size. The technology had advanced. The outcomes had not.

The problem was rarely the tools. The problem was that most security partners were optimized for scale rather than for the specific organizations they served. Senior expertise was rationed. Detection content was generic. Customer relationships were managed through a portal.

CYBERCI was started on a different premise: build a deliberately small team of senior people, take on a deliberately small number of customers, and treat each one's environment as the only environment. That premise still defines how we operate today.
